Scholarship: Sigma Phi Delta has several members on the Dean's List and apart of various engineering honor societies. We welcome general study hours every evening in our two upstairs common areas for all members. Pledges have a 4hr requirement each week. Additionally, pledges are paired with actives of the same major to help with tutoring in studies as well. This big brother/mentor relationship is also maintained thereafter pledging.
Service: We annually participate in university and Greek service opportunities...Al’s Run, Hunger Cleanup, Make a Difference Day, etc. As an individual chapter, we give time to the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center and proctor the College of Engineering Scholarship exam each semester. Several members have been/are involved with other organizations like Engineers without Borders and Habitat for Humanity. We continually look to expand our involvement.
Triangle
Our program consists of weekly tracking of hours studied by our members. The scholarship chair keeps track of these hours and then report these numbers back to the chapter about our averages for the week. The Triangle Fraternity is actively trying to improve our overall average as the semester progresses. We also offer tutoring in many of the engineering disciplines.

We have been a consistent figure at Community Warehouse on the Southside of Milwaukee. We try to attend almost every Saturday morning to help volunteer. In addition, we have had a few members take on their own service learning volunteer opportunities. Some of our brothers have worked with young children at the Boys and Girls Club to elderly disabled Veterans. Furthermore, all of our active members participated in Make a Difference Day this past semester, and we already plan to have 100 percent participation in the Hunger Clean Up later this semester. We are also hoping to expand our volunteer opportunities in the near future. We are looking at helping out with the disaster in Haiti as well as possibly some type of cancer research.
